Seasonal Haikus
Fall
Jump into the brown
Twirl in wind and knit those scarves
Crunch the leaves away
Winter
Bare skeleton trees
cold for cuddles and stories
With mittens and tea
Spring
Poofs of pink pollen
Tart sweets for picnic mornings
Dandelion sneeze
Summer
White lace sundresses
Tired sleep beneath tall limbs
Let the season last
And a few extra:
To find a lost key,
Will it lead you to a door?
Just folly searches.
Behind a giggle
Up those tress and with scabbed knees
You've found your childhood.
She sits, quiet and shy.
Beyond the closed door she's there
Dancing by herself

I think the one about Summer was my favorite. :-)
